Each Team Member is a crucial part of his or her store and provides Tomlinson’s customers with top-notch service and solutions to non-veterinary questions about their pets. You must care about helping to improve lives of pets and their owners.
Our Team Members are committed to expanding their knowledge of domestic pets, dogs and cats in particular. We are looking for individuals who are willing and able to proactively engage our customers, and to provide a wonderful shopping experience for them.
Our Team Members are flexible, have good judgment, and work together to ensure that Tomlinson’s stores are clean, delightful and helpful places for customers and staff to shop, work, and build relationships.
A Tomlinson’s Team Member is expected to work their scheduled hours, attend any prescheduled training events,
have flexibility to work extra shifts during holidays or to cover when co-workers are ill or on leave. Work schedules are established in order to ensure proper staffing at all times. Tomlinson’s stores are open seven days a week and the majority of holidays. Tomlinson’s employees are expected to work throughout the holiday season as needed.
You must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis in order to stock the store and to do carry-outs for customers. This is an active role which requires you to be on your feet for the majority of your shift.
