What You’ll Do:

Our Warehouse Drivers are a crucial part of the Tomlinson’s team. Our drivers are responsible for delivering pet products from our warehouse to multiple stores. We are looking for individuals with driving experience who are able to ensure product is delivered to stores in a safe, accurate, and timely manner.

Our Warehouse drivers must be reliable, have good judgment, and the ability to maneuver heavy pallets of product using a pallet jack.

Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintains a high level of accuracy
  • Load and secure product in a delivery vehicle and safely transport merchandise without damage
  • Operating a commercial vehicle to make deliveries
  • Operating fork lifts and pallet jacks
  • Loads and unloads shipments
  • Advises management of any delays or discrepancies with product on hand or shipments
  • Assemble pallets for shipment to stores
  • Consistently follows Tomlinson’s policy and procedure.
  • Successfully participates in required initial and on-going training. 
  • Actively participates in inventory management; including receiving, rotating, restocking, cycle counts, and cleaning.
  • Helps to ensure that work area and products are organized.
  • Works with all staff in a manner that contributes to the success of the entire team.
  • Works safely and helps maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Makes decisions which reflect best judgment and understanding of Tomlinson’s principles and practices as laid out in Tomlinson’s employee handbook.

Time Commitment
This is a full-time position. Our Warehouse is open Monday to Friday, 5:30am - 1:30pm.  A Tomlinson’s Warehouse Driver is expected to work their scheduled hours, have flexibility and willingness to work extra shifts during holidays, or to cover when coworkers are ill or on leave.  

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a continual basis
  • Stand on your feet for 95% of your scheduled shift
  • Ability to operate a commercial vehicle 

Required Experience

  • Operating a commercial vehicle 

Preferred Experience

  • Warehouse Experience
  • Forklift Experience
  • Pallet Jack Experience

License or certification

  • Driver's License (Required)
